Week beginning 6th - 10th February 2026 - Safer Internet Day
The children will be learning about how to stay safe on the internet during these days.
Children from Year 3 to Year 6 will watch a special assembly called a Tangled Web. The children will learn about keeping their personal information safe online, about age restrictions for websites and games, cyber bullying, people giving false information and that things online cannot be taken back.
11th February 2026 - Poetry Slam
Today all of the children from Nursery to Year 6 will perform the poem they have been learning all term in our annual Poetry Slam.
As part of this choral speaking experience the children will be judged on their clarity, pronunciation, articulation, intonation and presentation. Good luck to all of the children!
13th February 2026 - Half-Term
School closes on this day at 3:20pm.

3rd and 4th March 2026 - Parent's Evening
Come and find out how your child has settled into their new classes and how they are progressing. Appointment letters will be sent out nearer the time.

5th March 2026 - World Book Day
Today the children and staff will be coming to school dressed as their favourite book character to celebrate World Book Day. During the day the children will take part in a range of different World Book Day activities.
I wonder which characters we will all come as?
11th March 2026 - Choral Speaking
The children in Year 3 and the Poetry Club group will be performing the poems they have been learning on stage at The Eastern Pavilion. The children will perform 2 poems in front of other schools and an audience and will be awarded either a merit, an honours or a distinction.

23rd March 2026 - Eid Parties and Party Lunch
Eid Mubarak!
The children will be having a special party lunch and parties in their classes on this day. The children can come to school in their party clothes on this day! Make sure that their party clothes are suitable for playing outside and that sensible shoes are worn.
26th March 2026 - Easter Raffle
Today we will be drawing the winning tickets for the Easter Raffle! The Easter eggs have been kindly donated by the staff. Good luck to everyone who has bought a ticket.

27th March 2026 - Certificate Assembly
Certificates will be awarded to children from each class for Effort and Achievement.
Well done to all of the children who were nominated by their teachers. Attendance is by invitation only
27th March 2026 - School Closes
School closes for the Easter holidays at 3:20pm.
We wish our children and their families a safe and happy Easter holiday.
